The historic price ratio of silver to gold shows that about 10 ounces of silver would buy one ounce of gold, a 10:1 ratio. Recently, the ratio is about a 50:1 ratio (with silver at $20/oz., and gold at $1000/oz.) As the silver to gold ratio returns to historic values, from 50:1 to 10:1, you may make over 5 times more money investing in silver, than gold!
More than all of the silver produced by the mines each year is consumed by industry, which leaves little to no room for substantial investment demand. A marginal increase in investment demand will drive prices sky high.
Most silver is produced as a by-product of mining gold, copper, zinc, or lead. Higher silver prices might not substantially increase the amount of silver mined each year. Consider, in 1980, when silver prices went up to $50/oz., less silver was mined than in 1979.
So watts this mean to the jewelry sector ?.Simple a huge increase in the cost of silver jewelry and with that will come a bigger demand by the general public.
Now this is were it gets tricky ,if you are a jewelry retail shop or a customer you have to be sure that the silver your selling or the silver jewelry item your buying is of the highest standard,98%fine silver is the best.It is quickly becoming the new fashion standard.
At present 90% of all silver is made to a standard 925%Sterling silver, which means it has a small amount of impurities added ,However for an investment this just isn’t good enough .and it gets worse ,if you do buying trips for silver from lets say to Asian countries, the majority of silver in street stalls would not pass the assay test 925 that’s because the manufacturer has added large amounts of copper or bronze with the silver in order to be able to sell it cheap.
There are no tricks to buying silver ,firstly you must establish a good customer relationship with a reputable manufacture or wholesaler.
Secondly he should be happy to provide documentation of were the raw silver comes from with a assay test certificate.
Thirdly try and buy silver that’s Monogrammed,Customers love having designer name brands such as KDL,and you will find that if a manufacturer is name stamping his silver jewelry he has a reputation to protect.
So to sum things up ,Yes invest in silver jewelry ,but only in 98%pure silver ,wear it ,use it and wait for the price increase then you truly have a valuable asset ,you can even have it melted down and re sell the silver .Its a win win over gold .Even if gold increases in price it will not match the percentage profit that silver is now starting to return.

Help answer the question about Jewelry
What type of jewelry is best for a belly button piercing?I have had my belly button pierced for 2 years and all of a sudden it's getting itchy and uncomfortable and I think it may have something to do with the jewelry. I honestly don't know what it is, can't be great though cuz it was less than $20. It's beginning to get a little dark (the piercing). If I change the jewelry will that help the darkness go away?

You don't need to spend tons of money on expensive cleaners to remove tarnish from your costume jewelry, when you can use toothpaste? Most costly costumer cleaners include a mixture of baking soda and water, which is similar the formulas used in most tubes of toothpaste. Not only will using toothpaste save you money, it is also non-toxic and easy to clean up.
Steps:
1. Choose the right toothpaste. The key to using toothpaste as a costume jewelry cleaner is the baking soda. Do not use gel toothpaste, as it usually does not contain baking soda. And, avoid toothpastes that boast tartar-control or whitening power, as they may include chemicals that can harm your silver.
2. Use a soft dampened cloth to clean more delicate jewelry or softer silvers. Wet the silver and add a dab of toothpaste. Remember that a little goes a long way. Rub gently with the moistened cloth until polished.
3. Add a bit more toothpaste if the cloth becomes dark with tarnish and continue cleaning. Simply wash the darkened toothpaste foam from the jewelry piece, rinse the cloth and begin again.
4. Scrub your costume jewelry gently with a toothbrush for stubborn tarnish or hard to reach grooves. Try to find an old worn toothbrush or buy a new soft-bristled toothbrush to prevent scratching.
5. Rinse the polished costume jewelry in warm water and dry with a soft towel.
Tips & Warnings
* Toothpaste is an effective cleansing agent not just for your costume jewelry but also for your larger silver pieces.
* While toothpaste may be the best and most economical method for cleaning costume jewelry, it can be abrasive and may scratch more delicate silver items. Always test a small area first, in order to determine whether your jewelry piece should be cleaned with toothpaste or not.

Well, it may be just a little bit early for a ring, but what's most important is the way you feel about her. I think a necklace would probably be the most appropriate and safest bet at this time. The ring can come later! There's always Valentines Day and her birthday down the road. Good luck!

Depends on the seller through Amazon.
It's usually true UPS, so it's in a plastic envelope. Sometimes they'll send it in a cardboard box. You can ask for it to be gift wrapped though.
From other companies, it depends if it's a high end jewlery company (like Tiffany & Co.) or a low quality one.
You'd be better off receiving the package, and wrapping it yourself to make sure it looks perfect for her. =]
If that's not an option, just speak to the seller or e-mail the company before they ship it off.
I remember Seo In Young saying once she was the biggest member of jewelry but then i remember her on wgm and thinking how tiny she is. =/
And Baby J is a good rapper…but her english…
the beat from 0:00-0:16 is sooo good!!
they should have used it as the beat for the song. I think this song would have been a much better hit if that happened
Extreme closeups.
Have one picture with the model and one with a closeup of the jewelry.
The key is to not have too much at the same time
1) for chandelier earrings do a dainty necklace or go bare neck
2) for a statement necklace(a bold necklace) do small studs
3) rings I just wear 3 , if you do a cocktail ring you could wear either a statement necklace or you chandelier earrings
4) huge bangles just do studs and a dainty necklace
basically if you showoff one piece mute the rest

You need to remove your current piercing and retire it:) Let your belly button heal and clean it. Upgrade to a surgical steel belly button ring or 14k gold (Not Plated).
Good Luck!
Its the same, yes. Unless your lip is uncommonly thick, many types of standard size eyebrow barbells will fit perfectly! Typically you should also stay with the same gauge you were pierced with, most commonly a 16 gauge. You may also have to search for different lengths.
