The pollution or other environment damaging aspects are in a worrying level. Even though nowadays we can find so many green programs, but unfortunately, we can still find small damaging things that are done by the society, mostly in the metropolitan area like New York. I believe that this one of the reason that the Department of Environmental Conservation of New York City creates Green Police.
Green Police has 20 officers that have a duty to keep the city clean from environmental violations. These police officers should protect the city’s environment including the nature and educate the society about the importance on keeping the environment healthy. Not only that, they also have the right to make an action if they see an environmental violation.
The Green Police is completed with supporting devices to do their job like pollution measurement device. Pros and cons are appearing together with the creating of Green Police. Some people see it as a ridiculous idea, but many people are giving positive respond on Green Police. Well, no matter what pros and cons we can find on the society, the aim of Green Police idea is very positive, who knows that with Green Police in our city, the city will be healthier and more comfortable.
