Christmas season is fast approaching, this year avoid the Christmas rush and start shopping for gifts to your family and friends as early as October. Most of us are guilty of cramming and buying a gift for the sake of giving one. Or you might give a present then days later you’ll be filled with guilt or regret for overspending over it because you know it does not suit the recipient. What do you think, better shopping deals tomorrow or days before Christmas?I just wanted to get some opinions. I am trying to decide whether to do the rest of my Christmas shopping tomorrow (last Saturday before Christmas) or if I will find better deals Tuesday or even Wednesday? I will be doing most of my shopping at Toys r Us and Target. Toys R Us seems to have some great deals through tomorrow but do you think that they are going to get better?

right now im making a list, im checking out stuff online and writing it down so whenever i go out and we end up somewhere near there i just end up getting all the presents sometime before christimas

I start the day after Christmas (for the next year) everything is 50%-75% off! Since you've already passed this opportunity up, I would start on black Friday – right after Thanksgiving. Have a friend or family member babysit for you. This way you can stretch your dollar (since you'll be on reduced salary) After a month you will want to get out and spend some time alone – shopping will be great "therapy" 30 days after giving birth!
You can also opt to do homemade gifts for friends/neighbors as well (cookies, candies ..etc) That way you don't have to leave the home and you can take advantage of the black Friday sales at Michael's, Hobby Lobby, WalMart and Big Lots to package your homemade treats nicely.

I'll start after thanksgiving, like always. I find it annoying how christmas keeps creeping forward.
Right after Thanksgiving
I do a little all throughout the year, and usually check the stockpile in October or so, and then I make a final list of what's needed.
It's a lot easier on the wallet to spread it out, but I advise if you're buying certain things, like electronics, you do it as closely to Christmas as possible, so in case it doesn't work and needs to be returned, it won't be too much hassle.
