Well, well, well, it is that time of year again and once again we sigh at the seemingly overwhelming thoughts of the dreaded Christmas shopping. And yet, do we? There is something special about the stereo typical last minute testosterone mall invasion late on the 23rd and early on the 24th. My favorite Christmas shopping was always for her. Hmm, come to think of it, my favorite presents I received were always the ones ‘ for him ‘.
<br />
Personally I have lived this, each and every year I can remember, until last year! I was working for a major American company, in Europe, and while I did get to do some last minute shopping, in my traditional manner, most gifts were going to people on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. Sigh, 25% sales tax plus shipping, CRAP!!! That was when I first discovered the wonders of internet shopping on a major scale. I made online purchases, delivered to my sister in Montana and she in turn re-mailed them to the various people on my Christmas list after she wrapped the ones that didn’t come wrapped from the stores. First off, I saved a whole bunch on sales tax alone and don’t even get me started on the shipping costs from Denmark!!! I not only saved money, I saved time.
Today, my wife and I are starting a small service company in Phoenix, Arizona and we are pretty busy these days. Our money is not what it was even a month ago, it takes time to develop any business, and Christmas shopping just won’t wait another 2 months. So we dived into our own website, www.dfineonline.com and we proudly just finished our Christmas shopping for this year. On top of how easy it was to shop, the discounts were fantastic.
I know she will read this article, but I won’t tell her what her presents from both Frederick’s of Hollywood and perfumeworldonline are, he he. By the way, the links to these and other feminine gift suppliers are in our ‘ for her ‘ section.
I managed to get something for my dog, Lucky, I know I am an idiot, both my mom and dad, and no, none of that is from Frederick’s and a few gifts for some really cool kids and grownups. It was easy for me, I had already researched the companies, bought things from them in the past and I am completely finished with my Christmas shopping! Damn, I am breaking with tradition!
It should be noted that some companies will now wrap your presents and you can usually get free shipping direct to its final destination. Now, you can still go and enjoy the post office this holiday season, but it won’t be because you have to.
What I am trying to do with this article, is save you from the time it takes to search and shop from major brand name stores and companies by placing a neat and well rounded list of companies where you simply click your way to the companies’ web sites. The research is done for you. Should you choose to take my advice and actually do some Christmas Shopping from any of these companies, I would really like to hear from you. My email address is twelvebravo@hotmail.com (12B) is my old US Army job, meaning combat engineer.
Whether you do your shopping from www.dfineonline.com or not, may your Christmas be special, may your shopping be easy and may Santa be really really good to you this year.
Oh, one last thing, as much as it hurts, let’s all use as much money on Christmas this year, as we can, and show the world that the American buyer has not lost faith and we buy what we buy because we want to and American’s have never scared easy!!! Besides, if we don’t buy, we lose jobs and that is just plain wrong at Christmas time!

When my brother was that age he was really into remote controlled cars. Plus, he's still young enough to like board games, you could get him one he doesn't have. My Dad is absolutely impossible, so I try to get him things he will really use. He's got a stack of home depot gift cards, lol, so I'm trying to stay away from those. I know that every morning he goes and gets coffee from Dunkin Donuts, so I'm getting him a gift card to there. It's something that I know he'll use and appreciate it because he'll know I know what he likes.
Good luck and Happy Holidays to you as well!
hi there lola, maria is here. I am celebrating Christmas here with papa and mama but I wish to celebrate in Manila. It's much merrier than here. Like last Christmas, I joined my cousins in Alabang to attend the 'simba morning mass'. What do you call it?
So sad, I want to wrap a gift for kevin but how can I send him? I can't see him around here anymore aside from that coño pretending to be him.

Yes, I do know…here is a great book to read it's called: "Too Long in the Sun." It talks about all the Pagan origins of many "Christian" Holidays, it came as quite a shock to me last year when I read it, and then studied more to confirm…this is our first year that we are not celebrating Christmas…
Edit: My question would be, if one knew of the Pagan History of the Christmas holiday, why are they celebrating it when God said very plainly in the bible not to mix His Feasts with celebrations that are not of Him? This is why Israel was punished, they were mixing with the heathen and taking on their rituals…
You could make her a CD with all of her favorite songs on it.

A King James Bible works great.
If he was like me in college, then he might be obsessed with sound. My friend and I tried to get the biggest, loudest speakers in the dorm. A good sound card might be up his ally. From buy.com, you can actually get some pretty nice ones for $50. For $100, you can get one with a front panel, any geeks bragging rights dream. Creative sounds is the way to go, just check the reviews, for a while the audigy 2 zs was only like $60 after rebate, look for a another heavily rebated one like that and you will not go wrong.
No, only uncivilized people will cheat and the non uncivilized people will sit down and talk through. So, by this you are an UNCIVILIZED PERSON !
The kids are so adorable
I think some people on here didn't see the "one of these rare children that is not into materialistic things" part.
I do like the photo album idea a lot, a way to save memories forever (or close to it) and it will give her a way to feel like she can really do something good. ( I just got my daughter into photography, she LOVES it).
Anything that you can do homemade will probably really make her happy. A good gift doesn't need to come from the store…but if you want to buy her something, find out what she really NEEDS, anything from school supplies, a new outfit, something more "grown up" for her room…some posters…..a movie…good luck!
thank you for posting this i love this part
the year went by so fast its not even funny
